I have a flyer that has some clip art and word art that is duplicated and
then customized per store. Sometimes it saves as a pdf perfectly, but a
couple of them are a mess when saved as a pdf. I've tried moving the pix and
text boxes, adjusting the sizes, etc. to no avail. They are saved as pdfs so
that the stores can open them and print in color (they have a color
background) to post on the store's bulletin boards, etc. What can I do?
Please advise.

Are you using Acrobat? What version Office are you using?

I suspect your issue is with Adobe Acrobat not Office. Microsoft has a "save as"
PDF add-in for Office 2007, try it and see if it makes a difference.
