Does anyone know IF I can convert an avi file into a jpg. Basically the still
frame of the avi file that shows on the computer is what I need as a jpg. I
have searched and searched for a way to do this but have had no luck. I am
hoping someone can tell me IF this can be done and how (I'm assuming I may
need some additional movie making software - but I"m not sure).

PLEASE HELP

=================
Here's one way...

Import the .avi file into Windows Movie Maker...

Drag the file to the timeline...

Advance the clip to the frame you want...

Click the "Take Picture" button at the bottom
right of the view screen...

Save As - .jpg
