I am receiving bloomberg screenshots in an email which come in a gif format.
The screen resembles a DOS screen becuase the the background is solid black
and the words are in color. In order to view the image better once printed
(and save on ink) I am trying to invert the colors so the background is white
and the words are black when I print. I have to print over 200 printscreens
so I am hoping there is an easy way to set my printer preference so I don't
have to do the inversion to each file. Can anyone offer help or suggestions?

You could try a program that will do the entire file as a batch.
www.irfanview.com with the plug-ins might do what you want. It is a free
program. You also can select your preferred background color with this program.
You may not have to do a batch conversion.

Yes...IrfanView would be a great choice.

Just open a screenshot and go to...Image /
Negative to reverse the colors.

It will also do the task in a batch.

Open IrfanView and go to...File / Batch Conversion.

In the Look In pane...browse to your screenshots
and left click the 'Add All' button.

Under...'Batch Conversion Settings' choose
an output format.

Check the box...'Use advanced options' and left
click the Advanced button.

On the 'Set for all images' screen...check...
Negative / OK.

Choose an Output Directory.

Left click the 'Start Batch' button.
