Hi Everyone,
I have a small problem that I am hoping that someone can
help me with: When I insert a normal cd, or my wedding dvd or just listening
to music on lime wire it sounds slow, dull and the original artist sounds
terrible. This has never happened before.

Regards
Sharon

Go to the manufacturer's web site of your audio card and look around for an
updated driver.

Control panel, System folder, Hardware tab, Device Manager.
Look for the sound devices, this will tell you your audio card name.

Hi Mary,
Thank you! I looked it up and it says: RealTek AC '97 Audio
Properties, what do I do next..... That is under Sound, game & video
controllers. The heading sound devices is NOT in the list.

I'm guessing this is the driver you need:

Realtek AC'97 Audio Codecs A401

(updated October 9th, 2007)

Good luck.

by accident. Thank you both...it was very much appreciated!!!!
