The clip art gallery had been running quite slowly on Word 2007, and finally
it quit loading altogether. Now, when I click the button for insert>clip art,
it freezes up everything and I have to use task manager to close the program.
When I close it, the error message pops up. I also can't view any clip art
when I open the Clip Organizer. Is there a good way to fix this?

Empty your temporary files, see if that helps. In Internet Explorer, tools,
Internet Options, delete button.
The Clip Organizer has it own detect and repair. Also it would help to compact
the Organizer. In the Organizer, Tools, Compact.

Hi,
I too have the 0XE0000002 error when I try to open clipart. It opens
stand-alone OK but all of the pull down menu functions are greyed out
including compact. If I try to import clipart in Word - it locks the
application up totally. I have cleaned out the temporary Internet files but
it makes no difference. How can I repair the clip organiser ? It was running
OK last week, but something has changed. Can I reinstall it or repair it ?

Create a new catalogue file
Look in a folder similar to this for the Mstore10.mgc file:

C:\Users\<<user>>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Clip Organizer (Vista)
C:\Documents and Settings\<<user>>\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip Organizer
(XP)

Change the Mstore10.mgc to Mstore10.old
A new catalog will be created the next time you open the Organizer.
