I downloaded some clips (png) and have lost them. I don't know where they
were saved, as I can't find the Applications Data folder in Windows 2000 (or
at least on this computer - it's a new job, still trying to figure things
out!). My ultimate goal is to make the png file jpeg. Any ideas for either
problem? Thanks.

The Application Data folder is hidden.
Control panel, Folder Options, View tab, check *Show hidden files and folders.*
As for the lost images, did you download them from the Office site? If you did
they would end up either in the Clip Organizer or in the Microsoft Clip
Organizer folder in My Documents.

Look in your temporary cache, the images maybe there if you saved them from a
web site. In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, settings button, view
files.

Have you emptied your temporary cache lately? In Internet Explorer, tools,
Internet Options, delete, delete files. When the cache is full downloads have no
place to go while downloading.
