MS Digital Image

The latest...and last version is called:
Digital Image Suite Anniversary Edition.

There's a 60 day trial version available for
download if you would like to give it a try:

Microsoft Digital Image
Starter Edition 2006
http://tinyurl.com/28loxr
(this product line has been
discontinued but you can still
down-load the Starter Version
and run it for 60 days)

Unlike the retail version...the trial does not
have the ability to create VCDs and it does
not include the clipart and pre-formatted
projects.

According to the Digital Image Suite Home Page the Digital Image Suite
Anniversary Edition product is one of the Digital Image products that have
been discontinued. http://www.microsoft.com/products/imaging/default.mspx

Please see the asterisk * and small writing at the bottom.

Would you say that Photo Story 3, the free download, is the latest single
picture software product that has replaced the Digital Image products whose
features have been added to select WIndows Vista editions?

Yes, as I stated in my original reply...
"this product line has been discontinued".

However...the Starter editon is still available
for download and some retailers still have the
Anniversary edition in stock.

PhotoStory 3 is an older app for making slideshows
and has not replaced anything.

Maybe the following info is what you are looking for:

Unfortunately, no this is not what I am seeking. I was seeking concrete/solid
evidience stated on a Microsoft site explaining which current products have
replaced the legacy or discontinued products - Digital Image and Picture It!

I appreciate your efforts.

Thanks!

Beyond the release of the Anniversary
edition...there is no further replacement.

Certain features similar to Digital Image
are now being incorporated into Vista as
evidenced by the links I posted for you.

I guess I don't understand your question.
