Hi Im having problems with my pictures, everytime I open it up it wont show
previews of my photos (on the folder) it wont view my pictures as a slide
show and only shows the logo of picture manager (when I open the folder) in
any format, that is in thumbnail, filmstrip or tiles. What can I do to fix
this or should I just get iphotos is that a better product?

Maybe this article will help

Dear Mary
Thank you for your reply, I tried this and unfortunately it hasn't worked,
Im using Microsoft Office Picture Manager if that answers your question. Do
you have any other possible solutions? Thanks Leigh

Associate your pictures with a different viewer, the Microsoft Picture & Fax
viewer would be a good choice since it is already on your computer. Right-click
any image, properties, opens with... change.

If the viewer doesn't work, do this:
Start, run, type
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll
There is a space between the 2 and the s.

Your view settings or customizations for a folder are lost or incorrect

Hi Mary
I tried to open my pictures with a different viewer but to no avail. I then
tried the second suggestion and it worked like a charm, thanks so much you
have saved me a lot of frustration!. Leigh
