Using clipart for icons in online course
(too old to reply)

Can I, as an instructor, use clipart as icons for my online class? Only the
students in the class would be able to see the icons, they will not be
public. They will only serve as buttons to access course content, and will
not be edited.

I looked at the Microsoft Copyrighted Content page
(http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/permissions//default.mspx
) regarding the use of clipart, but it does not specify anything about use
on the web.

Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Microsoft Icons?
We can't give legal advice. If you feel comfortable using the icons after
reading the legalese then go ahead.
