Does anyone know how to make the animated clip arts or animated GIFs appear
animated within an e-mail message created in Outlook 2007? All previous
version were compatible with animated GIFs and animated clip arts. Now, in
Outlook 2007, any animated clip arts or GIFs appear static, not animated.

Anyone knows a fix, a plug-in or solution?

You need to send your email via HTML. Your recipients need to have HTML email
enabled in order to see the animation without it being an attachment.

Hi, Mary. I have my email set up as HTML, but the animations still don't
work. Any other ideas?

I didn't realize animation doesn't work at all in Outlook 2007. The poster could
send her email through Outlook Express or Gmail or some other email program.

Outlook Express would be a good alternative.

Unfortunately in Microsoft's infinite wisdom... you CAN'T anymore! But I
recommend you check out Mozilla's "Thunderbird" email program... I switched
from Outlook to Thunderbird and love it. It's very similar and you can
import all your Outlook email and addresses, etc.

Here's the link: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/
