I'm guessing you were using Windows Live Photo
Gallery on Vista?
Have you tried installing Windows Live Photo Gallery
on your XP machine?

(the installer will offer you several options and you
can uncheck the ones you do not want to install)
If you install Windows Live Photo Gallery and still do
not see the tags in question...they were apparently
written to the proprietary database Pictures.pd4 or .
Pictures.pd5 (depending on the version of WLPG).
