All vector clipart is generally considered hi-res. On the Office site, select
photos, type highresolution (one word) into the search.

Hi Mary,
I am also trying to find a clip art picture that is 300dpi or higher. I
tried searching using "highresolution" as the key word, but the images that
it pulls up still are 150dpi when I click on them and look at their info. Is
there a way to get permission from the owner of the picture to purchase a
high resolution copy of the image from them?
I am also unfamiliar with the term "vector" clipart - what is that?
thanks!

Rather my trying to explain vector:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vector_graphics
http://www.techterms.com/definition/vectorgraphic

On the left on the Office ClipArt site there is a list of Partner Sites. Most
will sell you an image at a modest price, this will include the license
(permission) to use it.

Thanks Mary,
I can't seem to see where the link to partner sites is. Maybe I am on the
wrong page (http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/clipart/default.aspx). Can you
send the URL?
