Problem with Wav files always playing

I have several wav files that I inserted into an Office 2007 Powerpoint
presentation from the Sound Clip Organizer and from Micrsoft Online
downloads. They all played before I saved the presentation; however, when I
saved, closed, and then reopened the file at a later time some of the wav
files did not play. I have the latest Windows Media player installed. What
is causing this problem and how can I fix it?
