Hi,

I can download the clip art I want but cannot use it unless I copy it out of
the temporary folder that it its stored in. If I try to use it out of the
application folder where Microsoft stores it my version of Word will close
telling me that Microsoft has encountered a problem. Any thoughts on what to
do here? I have to constantly download the same clips over and over to use
them because I can't seem to find a a reliable way to download and use them
without errors.

The Clip Gallery has its own help files, there are troubleshooting steps you can
try. Usually re-registering the ARTGALRY.EXE file is all you need to do.
Double-click the ARTGALRY.EXE file, you will get a message about it being
registered. The file is in a folder similar to this:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ARTGALRY

It could be, too, your temporary cache is full, in Internet Explorer, Tools,
Internet Options, Delete, you will need to delete the temporary files.

Mary,

Thank you for your response. I believe that I have located the .exe file
that you suggested and double-clicked it. Could you make a suggestion on how
to permanently store the clips I have downloaded? What is the procedure after
downloading the temporary folder?
Thanks,

Denny

The clips you download from the Microsoft Office web site will automatically go
into your Clip Gallery. Isn't this happening for you?
