I'm trying to download clip art into Clip Gallery 3 from Internet Explorer 7
(Windows XP sp2). The ActiveX control installs properly but when the
download starts I get an error message:

"Could not open file
C:\DOCUME~1\STLSETUP\LOCAL~1\TEMPOR~1\CONTENT.IE5\PHOSZ1M1\CLIPAR~1.CIL"

where stlsetup is the user I am logged on as.

this worked fine in Internet Explorer 6.x

Empty your temporary cache. In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options,
delete, delete files. If this doesn't help, move the folder. In Internet
Explorer, tools, Internet Options, Settings, Move folder. Another folder will be
created when next time you open the Explorer.

Emptying the cache did not work. I will try your second suggestion.

I neglected to mention that I uninstalled clip gallery 3 and installed clip
gallery 5 and that solved the problem. I will, however, try your other
suggestion first.
