,I could re-colour different parts of my clipart in word 2003 but I am having
a lot of trouble in 2007. Even though my clip is 'selected' I can never get
'Edit' 'Group' or 'Ungroup' to work, they are grey. I used the 'Disassemble'
tool and it allowed me to make the changes but I couldn't turn it 'off' if
that makes any sense. Can anyone help as I feel that I am going about things
all the wrong way.

Thank you Mary, it made things easier for me. Another question once I have
made my colour changes can I edit in other ways e.g move, and save in my
clipart folder. When I do save and reuse my clip is still in 'Edit' mode

You move an image by changing the wrap to something other than inline.

I am not a Word person, but maybe this will be helpful to you.
