You receive a "Not a Valid Win32 Application" error message when you start
SharePoint Portal Server

If you type "%1 is not a valid Win32 application" into Google, 214,000 hits are
returned.
One site advises re-installing Explorer, although it didn't say it helped.
I assume you did all the usual things, emptied your temporary cache, looked at
your firewall to be sure you have access to the Office site, accepted the
ActiveX component, moved your temp folder.

Post by illinikVirus/spyware has run. I also downloaded and ran SP2 and SP3 for Office 2003
(which was suggested on another site) and that hasn't helped. I believe I
have used the clip art in the past with no problem. So not sure what to try
next.
Post by Mary SauerHave you run a virus/spyware check?

Post by illinikWhen I run inetmgr.exe, it says can't be found. I tried it on my second
computer which runs Word Clip Art O.K., and got the same thing.
When I do search for "inetmgr.exe" I get DOSNET, HIVESYS, and LAYOUT files.

Post by illinikWhen I try to access clipart for a MS Word project, I get the subject
message. I have two computers, so perhaps I haven't tried to use
clipart
on
this one before, but I thought I had. Never had this problem before.
Please advise.
