how can i tell if i used-drag photo for slide show

when I select the photos for the slideshow-that show down the bottom- it
works great. but I can't tell from the collection at the top that they have
been USED. I have 600 photos and they are in not specific order - I am just
pulling them down as to what song I am using at that part of the slide show.
I do not want to use the same photo twice. what am I missing???

also wondering if there is anything that is almost exactly like the apple -
imovie that everyone says is so easy - that works with windows???

Hi Barn

What program are you using currently? PowerPoint, MovieMaker,
PhotoStory..... And how do you want to distribute the end result? On
computer or using a dvd player?
