Removing part of an image in Clip At

I'm trying to remove a a picture of a bridge from a clip in a PowerPoint
slide and reinsert in a different clip and cropping removes other elements of
the clip that I want to keep. How do I resolve this?

What format is the picture? If it is a .wmf, ungroup, delete segments, regroup.
Otherwise, open the picture in an editing program like MS Paint.
