I want to edit jpegs. How do I save with NO background or a transparent back
ground?

No background? Like a paper doll? You need
an image editing program that can do cutouts.

And yes...your cutout will have a transparent
background which means you'll need to save
in a format that supports transparency...png
or .gif would peobably be your best bet.

With some work this can be accomplished in
MS Paint. Have a look at the following tutorials.
