Microsoft Document Image viewer

Dear all
Am using the Microsoft Document Image viewer as my default printing tool.
Now once i need to print any document the message pop up to speciy where the
document should be saved is getting opened, now after saving the document to
my desktop and then trying to open it once again the system is not
identifying the file; knowing that upon saving it Microsoft Document Image
viewer opened the document as per the flag on the Save As screen.
i tried to browse the system and search for the program Microsoft Document
Image viewer in order to choose it and open the document but with no luck.
Any idea why is this happening?

What version Office are you using?
There was a fix for the application in Office 2003 service pack.

Issues that are fixed in Office 2003 by Office 2003 Service Pack 2

Some folks have had success by uninstalling the Document Imaging program in the
control panel, inserting their Office setup disk and re-installing.

Am using microsoft office 2003; nevertheless am gonna try ur suggested
