Copying/pasting images

I have a problem whenever I copy an image from either 'My Documents' or
received email and attempt to then paste it to an Internet web site (message
board). Instead of the image, a little box with a red 'X' or multi-color
design inside shows up. I have the same result attempting to add an animated
signature to my email accounts. My work around has been to copy the image,
upload it to an online storage I have through my ISP, then paste it.

If anyone can tell me how I might get around having to go to these extra
measures, I'd be most appreciative. I'll even spring for a cup of coffee if
you're ever in Atlanta...LOL!! Thanks!

Have you thought about inserting the images rather than copy/paste? Animation
only happens when you send your email HTML. Most folks disable HTML emails,
opting for plain text.

Thanks for your response, but I think you misunderstand my problem. I cannot
copy images stored on my computer (or from emails I've received) and paste
them in my posts on messageboards. Whenever I try, what appears are the
little boxes istead of the copied images. One poster advised me that
'embedded' images could not be posted on the site and someone else suggested
that either firewalls or anti-virus/spyware/adware adversely affect the image
posting process.

I'd ask the forum about their procedure. I can't understand why you cannot
insert the images into your message rather than paste.
