We have just upgraded our Office to 2007 this school year. In the past, the
office installs usually came with media disks, yet as we all know, 2007 media
is always downloaded. This is fine when talking about a handful of users,
but when we have a computer lab full and all are trying to use clipart at the
same time, the computers all seem to freeze up while searching for online
clip art.

If we turn off the option to check the web, no problems, except for the fact
that the clipart variety installed is minimal if not existent at all.

It seems to flood/bottleneck our network at this point. Has anyone else had
this problem. I have set the download page in our web filter to bypass (so
no caching). Also, is there a way to get a set of random media as the old
offices versions had media disks. That way I can install these on the
machines as well. This is driving some of our lab teachers nuts. Thanks for
any help or assistance.
