How do I remove-strip across top of screen?

Last week, somehow I installed a picture strip of HelloKitty across the top
of my screen. Now I cannot see my icons so I want to remove it completly and
I have no idea how to do it. Could someone please help me?

Maybe it's a desktop theme you could change
by going into Display properties. What version
of Windows are you running?

Or if it shows when you are surfing...it may be a
toolbar...have you tried uninstalling it in Add-
Remove Programs?

Might be worth a try to do a System Restore in
Safe Mode to a time before the unwanted graphics
appeared.
