I sent this message several days ago. Someone replied to it, but the link to
read and respond to the reply that was sent by Microsoft via email would not
open. I purchased and installed Microsoft Office 2007 several days ago. It
downloaded from the Microsoft site. Now I cannot copy pictures from the
Microsoft clip art gallery into my word documents. If I click it to paste
directly into the document, I get a message stating "item not
collected-format not supported by Office Clipboard". I don't understand this
since this is a Microsoft progam. If I get it to the clip organizer,
sometimes the graphic will show. But when I copy it to the clipboard, only
the icon for copying to the clipboard appears, not the chosen picture. I
know there is some small adjustment I need to make, but far be it from me as
to what it is. I have deleted temporary files. Please help....very
frustrated.

If you still have the Gallery installed, Insert, Object, Microsoft Clip Gallery
or open the Clip Gallery, drag and drop into your Word document.
Can you browse to the Office site and copy a clip from there?

Is your video/graphics driver current?

Mary, I cannot copy a clip from the Office site. That's the problem. All that copies is the icon, not the picture. I have no idea if the video/graphics driver is current. I know something happened upon downloading Office 2007. Thank you for your help. I am pretty much computer disabled...know just enough to barely get by.

There are three icons under every clip. If you click the third icon the clip
will be placed on the clip board. If you right-click the third icon, click copy,
you will get the icon.
