I am building a business card. I inserted a clip art on the left side of the
bus. card and wish to put text to the right of the clip art, but the text
starts at the bottom row of the clip art I want to move my text up not only
for space but uniform. I think it has something to do with th clip art cells
bigger than the text ? I couuldn't find an answer. Hope you can help .
Example shown below
looks like this
"Clip Art"
Microsoft

want it to look like this
"Clip Art" Microsoft

The text will move if the clip art is overlapping the
text box. Try adjusting the size and position of the
text box and the clip art to make them side by side
but not overlapping...then you will have full control
of each one.

Or...you could move your text box forward in the stack
which would place it on top of the clip art. Then you
could adjust the position of the text box and it would
not be affected by the position of the clip art. Right
click the text box and choose...Order / Bring Forward.

FWIW...you can Nudge a selected object into position .
with your arrow keys. To select a text box...move your
pointer over it until you see the 4 way arrow...then
left click to select it.

FWIW...my instructions were for MS Publisher...
and may not be useful if you are using a different
application.
