Confused about Copyright

Hi there, Ive read all the legal documents on this website and Im still none
the wiser. I know you cant actually give legal advice but I would like to
know how I can find out if an image is safe to use or not? I tried right
clicking - properties but often there is no information.

I dont want to infringe any copyright and am keen to do things right but am
finding it very difficult to get help.
