Can anyone help me figuring out how to transfer music from Windows Media
Player to a CD. I did it, but it does not want to play in a CD player, only
on the computer.
Thank you,
Sol

Thank you John,

I am running Windows XP, and WMP version 11, The way I copy it was, I opened
My Computer > CD and then selected all the songs > Copy > Paste to the CD.
The Copy to CD Wizard came up > Next. At this time the songs began to copy,
after a few minutes eveything was done, and all the songs appeard on the CD
with the WMP logo on it.

Thanks for the info....I'm thinking you created a Data CD...
that is simply files burned on a disk and CD players don't
recognize it.

What you want is a Audio/Music CD...this will render the
files in a certain format (.cda) that is recognized by a CD
player.

If you follow the instructions in the following articles the
result should be successful.

Follow the steps under... "To burn an audio CD".

Thank you for your reply,

One more question, is there a difference if I use a CD-R or a CD-RW disk?

Sol
=================================
Well...did you have any success with your
Music CD?

CD-RWs can be erased and reused many
times but CD-Rs are cheaper, longer lasting
and more reliable.
