Saving Animated Clip Art

I received a GIF animated clip in an email (Outlook 2003). When I save the
file and re-insert it into another email or word doc, the animation is gone.

How can I save the file and not lose the animation?

Animation only happens in HTML. After you insert the .gif into Word, convert
the document to a web page from the file menu, preview. In Outlook you will have
to send the email as HTML.
