Mac clipart troubles

There seems to be a lot of people in the same boat here... hint hint
microsoft. I have the same or similar problems every couple of days. It seems
very temperamental because it only works half the damn time.

The problem is:

I can't get my clipart to load into the clipart folder. When I double click
it looks like it's going to work and then.. no action, no loading, no adding
of the clips. Nada.

I have already done everything that the help page says (Mary Sauer, this
means you - do not post a link to the mac help page).

I have already tried adding the .cil extension. I have tried downloading and
then adding it. I have tried adding it while saving i.e. before downloading.

I have tried all of this stuff in both Safari and Firefox.

I have Windows for Mac 2008.

Oh and I'm trying to use it in Word.
