how to cancel editing mode in microsoft excel?

while doing presentation, i inserted a chart to second slide, but when i
tried to insert a chart to third slide, a pop-up message appear" to insert
chart you must close any open dialog boxes or cancel editing mode in
microsoft excel.

any helphful would be appreciated
