Publisher 2002-changing borders

Microsoft publisher has stopped working properly. It's telling me to
upgrade. I am happy to keep working with 2002 version. How do I get it to
continue without giving me messages about upgrading and preventing me from
using it?

I don't know why Publisher is telling you to upgrade. What exactly is the
message? Are you sure you aren't being asked to upgrade to Internet Explorer 8?
This might be the answer if you are using the Clip Organizer.
