Office Online clip arts contain some pretty
nice isometric images. Here is an example of
the style I'm talking about:

Does someone know if one can purchase a
commercial licence for these somewhere?

There are contact locations

They may be in-house illustrations.

Thanks Mary, these look very nice. I surfed for a couple of
hours but it was very difficult to find a good generic set of
technology oriented clip art in vector format. The number of
art providers is overwhelming, however most of them
don't provide icons in PPT friendly vector format.
Further suggestions are still appreciated.

The Avatar's you pointed out originally on the Microsoft site are not vectors.
If you have a drawing program it shouldn't be too hard to duplicate the look.

Pasi,
If you're willing to pay a little, the icons at www.pointclips.com may be
exactly what you're looking for. They are built as vectors using PowerPoint's
drawing tools, so they are scalable and have transparent backgrounds. There
are 5 free icons you can download to test out the quality.
