How do I import publisher 2000 clipart catalogs into office 2007

Hi,

I have a large number of clips from publisher 2000 which I would like to
import into office 2007 but when I bring them across I lose all the keyword
info and hence can't search them.

Is there a way to import the old clipart catalog files (*.mmc) into office
2007? A converter or something?

If you still have your 2000 disks you can install the Gallery as a standalone.
Within your Office programs, insert, object, scroll down to Microsoft Clip
Gallery. You also can place a CAG shortcut on your desktop. You can't insert,
but you can drag and drop.

I can't guarantee this will work, when I installed Office 2007 it broke the
Gallery. You may have better success.

I too want to use the 1000's of clipart from Office 2000 in office 2007.
Mary's solution is more of a work-around, surly Microsoft can do a 'tool' for
importing the old clipart? Why did they take the clipart off the desktop? It
makes it hard in a school situation, because you now need to give everyone
Internet access!
