Clip Art on Office for Mac

I have repeatedly tried to download clip art for my Mac. I save it to the
desktop. Then I try to 'import' it into the Clip Gallery. But it disappears
and never shows up in Favorites. It doesn't show up anywhere. How can I
download the clip art and get it into my program.

I'm running OS X and using the latest version of Microsoft Office for Mac.
