For some reason, I am suddenly unable to access any clip art. I have removed
and reinstalled Office 2008, plus the three updates. I am still unable to
insert any clip art. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thank you!

Mary,

I appreciate your suggestion, but it does not help me in any way. Perhaps I
was unclear. I am trying to put clip art into an Office 2008 powerpoint
presentation. When I try to insert clip art in any way, all I get is a gray
screen- although the Clip Art Gallery is supposedly what I am looking at.

I'm on a deadline and absolutely beside myself with this sudden difficulty.
What I did not mention is that I just purchased a Mac Pro and moved
everything to it from my G4 Powerbook. Then I did all the reinstalling I
mentioned, to try to fix the problem, assuming that for some reason the
powerpoint program in Office 2008 didn't transfer correctly.

Help!!

Deb, I know so little about how Mac handles clipart. I can only suggest the web
pages I mentioned earlier.
There is this web site
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/Office2008/default.mspx
There are downloads, maybe updates???

There are newsgroups devoted to Mac

Mary,

Thanks for trying to help me. What is crazy is that I have the very same
operating system on my laptop and there I have no trouble accessing the clip
art feature of Office 2008. I followed someone else's advice to repair disk
permission in the disk utility, but that didn't help.

There must be some glitch with the Mac Pro?
