I have thousands of clip art files which Word 2000 permitted me to add by
going to Insert Clip art & choosing catalog file under Types of File. It was
called MMC. I can't figure out how to get Word 2003 to do this - there is no
such animal.

The only way is to install the Gallery as a standalone application. Insert the
2000 disk and install. Drag the CAG icon to your desktop or Quick Launch
toolbar. You use it in Office products by insert, object, scroll down to
Microsoft Clip Gallery or open the Gallery, drag and drop.
