I use Microsoft Word 2003 and when I try to insert clipart the search
either has no results or just a couple. I have the options set to
search Microsoft online, all media types, etc. and still nothing.
Help! How can I get all of that clipart that should be coming up in
the search?

Empty your temporary Internet cache. In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet
Options, delete files.

Okay, I tried that, but it still doesn't work. Any other suggestions?

Open the Organizer from Start, Microsoft Office Tools, when the Organizer opens,
tools, compact. If that doesn't help, use the detect and repair in the help
menu.

Re-install your Microsoft Office, you will not lose any files.

Re-installing is a bit drastic. If the poster thinks the Organizer is broken,
the better way is to rename the main catalog to Mstore10.old. The Organizer will
create a new catalog the next time it is opened.

How do you rename the main catalog? Nothing has worked so far...

The catalog is in a file similar to this (hidden)
c:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip Organizer

If you have Vista
C:\Users\<<user name>>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Clip Organizer

Did you compact your Organizer?

I did everything you already suggested so far... so I find that file
and rename it?

This is happening to our office systems after
SP3 got installed. Our organiozer works but Insert-Pictures-Clipart returns
hardly any results.

Make sure you are online. Later versions of Office shipped with very little
clipart.
Check your firewall, it may be blocking access.

Thanks for the info. We are online and through the clip organizer there is
even more than before. After we installed SP3 in Office '03 if you try to
insert clipart in Word or Publisher there was nothing until I run the
organizer and then it only shows things we have created or saved. I will try
re-cataloging the clips.
