Everytime I attempt to download clipart it goes into my Completed Downloads
as a "file" with no extension, just a bunch of numbers. I use DAP as my
downloader but I have never had this problem before. Any suggestions?

If you are downloading from the Office site the clips will automatically go into
the Organizer when you click open. I have no clue about your downloader program.
Clear your temporary cache. In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options,
delete, delete files.

Mary, Thank you for the reply. I have deleted my temporary files but I am
still having a problem downlolading. They are not showing up in my organizer
and the downloaded file is just called a "file" with an icon that is a blank
page. Any more suggestions or do you know who I contact at Microsoft?

Thanks!

The Clip Organizer has its own help files, run the detect and repair. Also in
the Tools menu run the
compact utility.

Have you tried to repair your .mgc file?
It is stored in a folder similar to this:(hidden)
C:\Documents and Settings\<<user>>\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip Organizer.
Change the Mstore10.mgc to Mstore10.old. You will lose any custom clipart
keywords.

It might be that you need to open the file, not save it. It depends on your
version of office. It will download and then open MS Clip Organizer. IE
usually gives you only the option of open or cancel. Mozilla Firefox asks if
you want to open the file or save it. If you say open.. it will work. I don't
know about any other web browsers, I use only IE and Mozilla.
Hope this helps.
