I've tried all the suggested fixes for this, including compacting, clearing
temp files, checking to see that Word's "Insert Clipart" is searching
"everything" and in "Web collections", done the Office Diagnostic (nothing
found), disabled the firewall, uninstalled the firewall and disabled Windows
firewall, etc. etc. I still get NOTHING from the internet, which leaves me
entirely without clipart. Please help me resolve this issue. I have been
trying for several months to get this fixed.

Could be your Organizer is corrupt. Find Mstore10.mgc on your hard drive,
re-name it to Mstore10.old. You will lose all your custom keywords. The
Organizer will create a new .mgc file the next time it is opened.

The file is usually found in a folder similar to this: (hidden)
C:\\Documents and Settings\<<user name>>\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip
Organizer
or
C:\Users\<<user>>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Clip Organizer (Vista)

Moving your temporary folder can help in some instances.
