I have been told to use Real Player when downloading video from
NBCOlympics.com, but I can't even get started. Can you tell me how to do
this please? I am using XP, and have version 11.0.4 of Real Player.

Thanks,

Bob

Ok...can you select a video clip and
see the "Play video" button? What
happens when you left click the button?

FWIW...the videos play fine on my WinXP system...
my default player is Windows Media Player 10 and
I have SilverLight installed.

Also...my pop-up stopper blocks the video window
so I have to hold my Ctrl key when clicking the Play
video button.

Download Silverlight

John, I can watch video just fine, but I want to download the video as a file
so that I can save it on me computer. I guess this is different from
downloading in order to view it.

There is software you can download and install
from the NBC site that may help you accomplish
your task. (play the Test video and then click the
Download button)

Have a look:
http://www.nbc.com/olympicsonthego/drm_check.shtml

Also...you may want to review the FAQ:
http://www.nbc.com/Video/faq_direct.shtml

Good luck...
