I'm looking for a (black) club, spade and (red) diamond and heart to use when
writing about Contract Bridge hands.
Isn't there also some way to assign these symbols to 4 of the "F" keys on a
keyboard? Someone told me there was but had no idea how to do this. I want to
use these in both Word and Microsoft Publisher.

You might look on the Office web site for clipart.

In Publisher, insert Symbol, scroll down to Miscellaneous Dingbats.

Ask on a Word newsgroup, someone will tell you how to assign the keys.

Thank you so much Mary. In Word, I scanned down passed hundreds of symbols
and finally found the club, diamond, heart, spade symbols. Then I was also
able to put a shortcut on 4 of the F keys at the top of the keyboard so it's
perfect. In Microsoft Publisher Pro...same thing....except that program will
not allow me to use or make a shortcut.

Thanks for posting back, Gypsycat. It is always a pleasure to have feedback.
Publisher 95 & 97 has a bridge tally template, if you ever need one let me know.
