You would also have better success by saving the image and inserting rather than
pasting. Most web graphics are low resolution, not suitable for printing for the
most part. The white box with the cross doesn't mean it is the wrong format, it
usually means the web master didn't upload the graphic to the server. If you get
many of these white boxes, it also could mean your Internet cache is full.

Post by ThereseHi
Thanks for responding. I see what you mean - but those gif's I wanted as a
borer on the top, a gif at the side etc. It will work if it is only one gif
thanks, but, you know, it just happens now and then and I'd like to know why
and what to do about it. Some websites has also got a white box whith the
cross - but that is useually when the webmaster has saved the pic in the
wrong format

Post by rajkohliI think instead of copying and pasting the GIF files into email, you should
attach them with Attach - Picture command. They all will automatically will
be placed in the end of your email. Hope it will work. Let us know.
Post by ThereseHi
Every time I try to copy GIFanimations from a certain webpage and paste into
an e-e-mail, I get a blank box by the size of the animation in the e-mail,
with a red cross in the top right corner. Now how do I do it right, or is
there a simple explanation ?
Thanks :0)
