Looking for Maps of World (Regions) Composed of Grouped Objects Similar to Office 97 Clip Art

Hi all!

I'm looking for maps of the world (or of its continents/regions)
similar to those:

j0434323.wmf (Map of Poland's provinces; keywords: countries or
regions, Europe, European, geography, maps, Poland, Polish, Polish
provinces, provinces)
j0435348.wmf (Map of India's provinces; keywords: capital cities,
capitals, countries or regions, geography, India, maps, New Delhi,
South Asia, states, text)

They can be ungrouped and individual parts (regions, borders etc.) can
be recoloured, removed etc.

I know similar maps, e. g. for Europe, where part of Office 97. But
those maps are no longer available online, it seems. Any ideas where
maps like these can be obtained from?

Do they have a style number I could search for?

Have you tried a search for vector maps? You can ungroup most .eps images in
Word. A lot of 1997 clipart was in a .cgm format.

Thanks for your help.
I actually just found some nice - though not very detailed (even
slightly incorrect) maps here:

(Incorrect because some borders seem to be missing.)

So, if anyone has an idea where to get _free_ customizable powerpoint/
wmf world maps from, I'd still appreciate a hint! :)
Also, if you know where to find the maps that were originally included
in Office 97 (or know what style number they got from Microsoft),
please let me know. (If I understood correctly, Microsoft just
purchases their clip art from third party suppliers, so those maps
must be available from somewhere if they're no longer available for
free at office.microsoft.com, right? ;-)

Actually, I just had a closer look at your world map - and I think
it's exactly what I was looking for - if I ungroup it twice. Thank
you! :)
So, my last remaining question is: Does anyone know if that kind of
map has a style number associated to it?
