I work at a not-for-profit and we recently started a walking group at work.
We would like to use a clip art picture to represent the walking group. The
group was named Sneakers Walking Group long before we found the clip art;
cooincidentally you have clip art that shows a sneaker with feet! There is no
fee to join the club, it's just part of an overall wellness campaign within
the organization. We hand out flyers to get people to walk with us and will
be giving away t-shirts, hats and water bottles to members. From what I read
we can use the sneaker clip art on the flyers, but am wondering about the
t-shirts or any other free give-a-ways. We have a separate company logo, so
it would only be used on the flyers and give-a-ways.

Please advise.

Thanks!

I'm not asking for legal advise, looking to find out if I can use clip art on
a t-shirt. This is a permissions question. Can we put the clip art picture on
a t-shirt for a free walking club?

Please advise.

There is a photo on the clipart site that has sneakers and feet, it is a
PhotosToGo image. You can get permission from that vendor.
The other images for the most part for commercial use needs Microsoft
permission.

I have a cartoon type sneaker on my web page you can use if it is what you are
looking for. I have the vector format. Scroll way to the bottom.

Hi Mary: Thanks for your help but I can't find the sneakers clip art on
photos to go. This is the clip art (not photo) on the microsoft site:
j0361104 Here's the link:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipart/results.aspx?qu=j0361104&sc=21

Can you tell me if that is the same one you're looking at on Photos to Go?
If not, to whom does it belong?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Linda

I cannot find the original artist. I have similar clipart from Microsoft that
has 1995 time stamp.
I wrote an article for Microsoft a long time ago. Take a look to see if some
edits might be all you need to do.

OK I imported into Publisher and changed the outline colors in the sneaker
from black to purple, which I assume from your e-mail below, makes it
original art for us to use in our materials and on promotional items, like
t-shirts, etc. I also sent a sample to the e-mail address on your web page.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Linda
